Stuff You Wanna Know
Who is your brand not for?
That’s So Andrew isn’t for those who prefer a more conventional or reserved
approach. If you’re not into bold humor, progressive values, and LGBTQ+ inclusivity,
our brand will not be the right fit for you
How did you get your start?
I started my business with $500 I saved from flipping home goods and décor on Facebook. That initial investment helped me launch my venture, and it’s been crazy growth ever since!
What’s been the largest challenge for you?
Finding my voice as a young entrepreneur and building confidence in my identity has
been one of the biggest challenges. Despite not being a professional designer or copywriter, I’ve grown into my role and discovered that people connect with my brand and my personal style.
If your brand was a cocktail, what would it be?
As a sober individual, probably something non-alcoholic truthfully. But the brand has so much personality I suppose it would be some sort of Martini because it has so many variations and options... and its right to the point.
Why did you choose stationery to start your business?
I wish this was a cuter story, but honestly it’s just because I was selling mugs at the time and people told me my quotes would be funny as cards so I gave it a try. It turned out to be a great fit!
If you sell to Urban Outfitters why should I carry the line?
Small retailers should carry my line because I prioritize their success and reputation over big box stores. I ensure that my products are priced competitively in smaller shops while being more expensive in larger retailers. Additionally, my extensive queer-based card collection promotes inclusivity, which is important everywhere
What are 3 fun facts about Andrew people should know?
1. I love wiener dogs. Exclusively the long hair dapples.
2. I have an Associates degree in Baking & Culinary Arts
3. I started my first business when I was only 14 years old!
