Who's Andrew?

I like to drop f bombs... & you probably do to.

If you ask my parents, they will tell you that the first word out of my mouth was a bad word... and that they have tried for 25 years to get me to watch my mouth!

If I am being honest with you... that ain't gonna happen anytime soon! My entire family is a wee bit conservative with their beliefs and use of profanity. I think it might be because my parents & grandparents are on the older side for your typical 25-year-old (my pops is 67 and momma is turning 62). Somehow, they managed to get stuck with a mouthy, strong-headed, opinionated, talented, creative, go-getting, and a mostly homosexual son. It seems to me they may have upset the spirits in their past lives. All jokes aside, they are very supportive! I think it may have to do with them counting on me as the child to pay for their retirement homes and sponge baths.

A very common question I get is... How did you start That's So Andrew? It was a long journey, so I will keep it short! I created my first product when I was only 17. It was a line of candles that had snarky quotes on them. They were hugely successful and my candle line hobby had gone full time business very quickly. When I was 19 I said" my oh my... this is all too much!" I, without much thought, shut down my business for an extended break. I headed straight to Thailand and stayed for an entire month! If you're asking... why was it too much? Well making things production style is very repetitive and to be frank, and I have a VERY short attention span. I prefer to be creative and constantly brainstorm new products and collections--so pouring candles was not something I wanted to continue to do. Back to Thailand: it was the b e s t thing I ever did. I accidentally made a contact with a manufacturer, located in China, ordered my first product sample and haven't looked back since! Now I know what you are thinking... China... but trust me when I tell you I have very high standards for my products! I would never sell some cheap looking product that you could find on wish.com or something! I have 2 partnered factories who pride themselves on their attention to detail and craftsmanship.

So folks, there's a rant about how I got started or whateva. If I seem like your type of guy.. welcome! If you're a little offended, I am probably not the store or the person for you... but regardless, thank you for looking and tell your more morally loose friends all about my shop!
